Videos - some viral, some not
Over the years I have played with the idea of making signs in my backyard in the freshly fallen snow. I live near McGuire Air Force Base and secretly hope that the pilots flying above have looked down and wondered about what they were seeing. But until recently I wasn't able to make a video of it. That all changed when I bought a Gopro Hero. My videos are nothing more than a little self expression with no other purpose than to enjoy myself. Of course I am limited to having to wait for it to snow and that can be a long time between events. Keep watching this page or my youtube channel for new projects. - "Tropical Thoughts" - Snow Hammock on Palm Trees
- I made this February 18, 2015, after a long winter of bitter cold and snow. I was ready to escape to the tropics thus the title "Tropical Thoughts". There is a place in Bahia Honda State Park in the Florida Keys where a few lone palm trees shade an otherwise barren coast. That place was the inspiration for this brief escape from the cold.

- Spring Flowers - A Still Life in the Snow
- So after my imaginary escape to the Florida Keys a few weeks earlier I made my second attempt at time lapse video with Spring Flowers on March 8, 2015. Another snow, more cold, and all I can do is think about spring. My inspiration here was the thought of a still life photograph of flowers hanging on the wall bringing color and cheer to an otherwise prolonged and drawn out winter.

- Made this one after shoveling 24 inches of snow from the great Blizzard of 2016 on January 24, 2016. I think I was digging for 4 hours before I was able to take a break and play in the snow for a few minutes. Enjoy!

Viral Video
My video "021815 Snow Hammock" has been copied and shared around the world. I have found it on facebook pages with over 2 million views. At one point I found it on Reddit's front page re-titled "Living in northern Canada can be rough sometimes" with over 5,000 upvotes. The version that is on imgur re-titled "Wishing he was in paradise" has over 1.3 million views. I have tried to total the number of views on various social media, which is difficult to say the least, but I can comfortably estimate that it has been viewed some 40 million times! People seem to just love it and I am glad! So please, if you like it, share it! But share it using the youtube versions since they are the highest quality and they are the way I intended them to be viewed. Most of the copies out there are distorted or have suffered generational loss. They are cut short and they do not credit the artist.
