Photographer Jody Somers

Jody Somers has fifteen years experience as a photojournalist including studio and on location portraiture, sports, editorial, product and events photography.  He holds a bachelors degree in fine arts and a bachelors degree in journalism from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey.

Jody has worked for private and corporate clients throughout his career including photography of weddings, NCAA sporting events, national news stories and local news events for the Home News Tribune, a daily newspaper.

Jody is also a volunteer firefighter.  He has served his community since 1999 and currently holds the rank of lieutenant at Jackson Volunteer Fire Company No. 1.

Possessing a wide range of technical, professional and photographic skills Jody is available for assignments in the New Jersey, Pennsylvania, New York and Delaware area.
